Truggies have never been known to be pretty, but they've always been able off-roaders that made for races over dirt tracks and backyards. Team Durango thinks they've changed that with their DNX408T Nitro Truggy Kit.

Packing the same capable off-road capabilities as other truggies in the market, the new 1/8-scale racer should take those leaps and falls with the best of them. Except it claims to be a lot prettier while doing it, showing up with a tough yet undeniably sporty appearance.

The Team Durango DNX408T Nitro Truggy boasts design and materials geared towards providing it high levels of strength, allowing it to clear the biggest jumps in the roughest tracks without showing undue wear. Features include large 15mm bore shocks on alloy shock towers, all-new spiral design gears, machined alloy bulkheads, and a laundry list of tuning and configuration options (multiple positions for shocks, adjustable camber links and easy-access differential, among others). Other details include molded rubber boots, heavy-duty splash guards and a lid-located pipe that helps keep consistent pressure in the tank.

Whether you think the Team Durango DNX408T Nitro Truggy is a sweet looker is beside the point -- this thing looks seriously primed for competition. Street price for the kit is just under $600.
